This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued for payments made to Edugator ("Edugator", "we", "us"). By enrolling in a course or purchasing access, you agree to this policy.
Free Trial and Teaching Staff
Instructors and teaching staff use Edugator for free, and the Free Trial is available at no cost — so there is nothing to refund for trial usage.
Student Refunds (Add/Drop Window or Other Reasons)
-
On plans where students pay a platform access fee when they join a course, a student who drops the course may request a refund up to 7 days after payment, or 7 days after the course start date set by the instructor — whichever is later. To be eligible, you must drop the course and provide documentation confirming the drop (for example, a registration or add/drop record).
-
If you are requesting a refund for another reason, contact us at refunds@edugator.app within 7 days after payment and we will review your request.
-
After the 7-day window, platform access fees are generally non-refundable, because access to the course content has already been provided.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us at refunds@edugator.app with your name, course, institution, and any supporting documentation. We will review your request and respond within 10 business days.
Processing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your payment provider, it may take several business days for the refund to appear.
Institutional and Department-Paid Plans
For Institutional plans, department-pays, and lump-sum seat arrangements, refunds and credits are governed by the applicable order form or agreement between Edugator and the institution. Please contact your Edugator representative or reach out at refunds@edugator.app.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
